
ReBusiness Partner Spotlights
The following businesses excel in one or more areas of the 4R’s (reduce, reuse, recycle, then rebuy!).

The CBORD Group, Inc.
- Participates in an off-site composting program with Cayuga Compost to collect food waste from the cafeteria.
- Established a 'Freebie Table' for reuse of unwanted items.
- Reuses packaging materials when possible, including recyclable craft paper used for shipments.

Loaves and Fishes
- Uses durable kitchenware for food preparation and consumption as well as cloth towels for cleaning.
- Recharges toner cartridges through Staples.
- Cooks with good quality donated food that might otherwise have been thrown away.

Kendal at Ithaca
- Collects electronics, batteries, and compact fluorescent bulbs from residents and throughout the facility for proper handling at the Recycyling and Solid Waste Center.
- Holds a tag sale every other year for residents to sell items they no longer need.
- Recycles corrugated cardboard, mixed paper and mixed containers, as well as scrap metal.

Wegmans
- Sends internal unwanted electronics, toner cartridges, and spent fluorescent tubes to the Reclamation Warehouse in Rochester to be reused, donated, or recycled.
- Provides a $0.50 discount to customers who bring a Wegmans reusable mug to the Coffee Bar.
- Donates left over and overstocked food, as well as food with damaged packaging, to the Friendship Donation Network. In 2008, Wegmans donated 80 tons of food.
