Information about acceptable items and how to prepare recyclables for collection. Recycling and Solid Waste Center Drop-Off The Recycling and Solid Waste Center (RSWC) is located at 160 Commercial Avenue, and is open Monday through Saturday from 7am to 3:30pm. The RSWC has drop-off areas for garbage, single stream recyclables, food scraps, yard waste and additional materials (i.e. electronics, batteries and rigid plastics). Tompkins County businesses and residents have the option to hire a licensed hauler to remove recyclables and garbage from their property. |
